Marrakech Roasted Brussel Sprouts

It's officially fall and roasted Brussel sprouts are a delicious and warm addition to salads. Make a big batch and serve as veggie dish to any meal, add to salads, and meal prep for busy days.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds Brussel sprouts; trimmed and halved
  • 1 Tablespoon Marrakech spice blend
  • A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
  • A dash of sea salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. On a baking sheet, add Brussel sprouts, Marrakech spice blend, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, and mix till fully incorporated.
  3. Roast for 30-45 minutes.
  4. Serve on salads or as an appetizer
  5. Nourish your soul!

    Notes

    1. You can find barberries in Middle Eastern stores.
    2. To bloom saffron, add a couple of ice cubes to a glass and add crushed saffron for 20-30 minutes
